Tom is a character from a reoccurring childhood dream, first appearing in 1983.
The video is made up of 5000 individual frames, each frame was manipulated one by one in Photoshop over a period of two months.
The labour of manipulating each frame over a prolonged period gave the artist time to try and understand the relevance of the dream, and take cathartic control of the character.
